"It's Christmas Day! It's Christmas Day!"

Once upon a time, as my family and I prepared to celebrate our Christmas dinner together, an uninvited guest announced his arrival on my back patio. A skunk!

His very stinky smell permeated my house and yard, creating crisis and chaos! While we were all still holding our noses and crying out in distress, I knew I had to tell this story in a children’s book. Just for added fun, the book has Little Skunk telling the story from his point of view. In the process, I used poetic license liberally, to embellish the tale, and the result is a heart warming book, inspired by a true story, that is sprinkled with laughter, and life lessons.

This is a great addition to the world of kid's holiday books. Well written with superb artwork. Each page had me laughing. This book sends a nice message, and the fun facts about skunks at the end made me realize that ALL skunk lives matter! I highly recommend this book for the youngster's.
